The acceptance and grace that God gave Joshua, is the same one He wants to give to us.
A man that yearned to be near the presence of God. Joshua was a close aid to Moses, who was allowed to accompany Moses when he went up Mount Sinai. Joshua was born a slave in Egypt (1 Chr 7:20,27), but God extended his grace after seen a heart that wanted to walk closer to God. After the death of Moses, the leadership role of the people of Israel was given to Joshua along with the promise that the Lord would always be with him (Josh 1:1-6).
This same security, grace and favor that we see in Joshua’s life are the same ones that the Lord is extending for our lives. He invites us to draw near to Him so he can establish a house that is firm in the Lord. To establish a house, a home and family that is a light in the midst of darkness. A light that shines with the glory of the Lord that represents all that the Lord wants for humankind. With these promises we can then say as Joshua said:
“…but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15)
Our desire in this conference is for the Holy Spirit to fill and cover our lives so that He can heal the wounds of our soul; with the purpose of experiencing the Father’s heart of God and establishing a home deeply rooted in Jesus Christ. This home would be a home free from any rejection, jealousy, envy, hatred, and distrust; instead, it would be a home full of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).
