Worship & Creative Arts
The ministry of Praise and Worship is a vital one at White Horse Christian Center. Psalm 150 is our hitching post of praise: "Let everything that has breath, PRAISE THE LORD!" It's loud, it's jubulant, it's full of life -- and it's for EVERYONE, of every age! It is much more than just music -- it's the fullness of creative expression through all the brilliant gifts the Lord has given the body of Christ!
Minister of Music, Jayna Mullen, oversees the various creative arts ministries and worship teams at White Horse Christian Center.
We offer opportunities for all ages to participate in the ministry of worship!
THE KID'S PRAISE
TEAM - for ages 4 yrs through 5th grade meets one Sunday afternoon per month to Prep and lead worship one Wednesday night service per month. Abby Servies, The K
id's Praise Team leader and her leadership team are sensitive to the skill levels and attention spans of these age groups, and plan activities accordingly. The Kid's Praise Team also participates in our yearly Christmas Program and in special music and dance selections for conferences and other events. They have a wonderful time pouring out their love for Jesus through worship and song!
THE YOUTH WORSHIP TEAM is for middle school and high school youth who play instruments and/or sing. Everyone is welcome. As they develop in their skill and devotion to the Lord, many of our youth are also important members of our adult worship team. The Youth Worship team, led by Erick Morales, 
meets an average of one Sunday afternoon per month - more often as they prepare for the summer Youth Conference. They develop close knit relationships as they "jam for Jesus"; plus, the disciplines they learn as they worship the Lord, and yield to and support one another, last a lifetime. We believe these are important times of growth as they move into young adulthood.
THE ADULT WORSHIP TEAM is what we call our main, Sunday/Wednesday worship team. However, our teams all seem to blend together, as many of our youth also serve on our adult team. We also have a Latino Team leading worship for our Sunday evening services which are bilingual. Many of those team members also serve at other services. We have Sunday afternoon worship preps (rehearsals) a couple times per month.
THE MINISTR
Y OF DANCE AND DRAMA, led by Candice Beaver, takes many forms at White Horse. We often engage the youth, the young adults, and the young-at-heart for special dance/drama presentations, especially for the Youth Conference and Christmas
Program. Candice also works with the Kid's Praise Team to teach them simple movements for their songs. As our camera and lights ministries evolve, we are looking forward to even more enhanced presentations and productions! Lights, cameras, ACTION!
