About WHSM
White Horse School of Ministries is a non-traditional, ministry preparation institute of learning. By non-traditional we mean that we do not organize our curriculum into semesters or terms. Our school is designed to fit into today’s busy schedule while helping the student to prepare for the ministry God has called them to. Whether you are employed full time or in full time ministry, White Horse School of Ministries offers a way for you to earn a theological degree.
Our unique school is organized to give you the maximum opportunity to progress according to your schedule. In the March Intensive school, now known as the Word Conference, we offer a full week of cutting edge sessions that feature mature ministers that are qualified by years of experience in the field as well as academically. The instructors teach in an intensely anointed setting and impart the Word of God to the individual student. Four classes a day are taught with many opportunities to ask questions and receive personal ministry. The classes are very intense and cover a complete twelve-hour day.
These four Intensive classes constitute twelve (12) credits toward a degree that is approximately equal to one semester in a traditional college. Classes that are required to earn a specific degree as well as other elective courses are taken by correspondence where you may progress at your own pace.
In the fall and winter we conduct classes on Saturday morning. These classes consist of approximately fifteen hours or more of class time and are scheduled with breaks for holidays, church conferences and instructors' traveling schedules. Sessions are taught by our in-house teaching staff.
The fall and winter classes, as well as classes from the Word Conference, are also available for correspondence students.

Dr. Shirley A. Elenbaas, Th.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Shirley Elenbaas is the President and Director of White Horse School of Ministries. She holds a Doctor of Theology Degree from Shalom Bible College and Seminary in Des Moines, Iowa, as well as a Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Education and Administration. Dr.Shirley has dedicated her life to the encouragement and launching forth of the Body of Christ into God's individual and corporate callings. Her hunger for more of God, her rich wealth of wisdom, and her handling of the Word of Truth all blend to provide her students with a comprehensive course of study. Whatever the subject, Dr. Shirley's purpose is to ignite a fire within the student to propel them toward a greater understanding of the heart and ways of God.
