Nursery Volunteering
At White Horse, we believe children are a heritage of the Lord. As such, it is our desire to care for these treasures the Lord has given us in a loving and nurturing atmosphere that demonstrates the love of Christ to the children and their families. The nursery includes all children, ages zero and up, who have not yet begun kindergarten.
We offer childcare for nursery age children during the following service times:
- Sunday mornings at 8:30 AM & 10:00 AM after worship and the offering
- Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM after worship and the offering
We also offer childcare for many of our special events such as ladies dinners and some conferences, etc.
Because the consistency of a familiar face is critical to the confidence and feelings of safety for very young children and their parents, we ask that all nursery staff who work with the children make a minimum commitment of 3-12 months.
In addition, all volunteers who work directly with the children are required to have a background check performed before working with the children.
