May 31st Celebration:

The month of May holds special historical significance for the WHCC family.  This year we celebrated with testimonies, stories of renewal, a baptism celebration, and an all-church family meal with games and activities.

Our many cyclists, bikers, and athletes brought their helmets and bikes.  Psalm 91 protection and safety was prayed over everyone and we placed a prayer cloth inside each helmet.  Summer is upon us.  It’s a time of fun and refreshment which includes many outdoor activities.  Be blessed and be safe!

Words for this Season:

On May 7, 1995, White Horse Christian Center experienced an outpouring of the Holy Spirit that would forever change the hearts of the people in attendance; and marked the beginning of a 20 year habitation of the Holy Spirit’s presence.  This month, WHCC pastors led us into a time of reflection and preparation as we gave thanks for what the Lord has done, and look forward with expectation as we see a fresh outpouring beginning.

As we prepare our hearts for what is to come, here are a few words of wisdom from Pastor Jeff:

·  “It is important as we pursue the Lord to not get caught up in our own expectations, but to remember that He who is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above what we could ever ask or think (Eph. 3:20) …will show Himself in exactly the way HE sees fit.”

·  “When God shows up in His sovereign power we are no longer in control—we must be flexible to allow Holy Spirit to lead—without the interference of a spirit of religion or fear of man.”

·  “A move of God is like remodeling your house: it takes longer than you thought, costs more than you dreamed, and is messier than you could ever imagine.”

Youth Conference 2015! Recharge 2 RunAre you Ready?

Isaiah 40:31, “But they that wait upon the Lord will renew their strength; they will mount up with wings as eagles; they will run, and not be weary; and they will walk, and not faint.”

This year, July 9, 10, &11 will be a time of refreshment, encouragement, and challenge for the youth.  We’re called to be salt and light in a world that desperately needs the love of Christ.  It’s easy to become weary on the journey.  As we rest in the Lord, He renews our strength, and when we’re yoked with Him, there is an ease in the tasks set before us.  We hope you and your youth will join us as we worship, learn and experience Holy Spirit together. This is life-changing stuff for our teenagers!

Individual/group registration is available on-line now! As always, the conference is FREE and lunch is provided on Friday and Saturday.  Contact the WHCC office for more details 765-477-1111.
